GWU Holiday Camp schedules set

GWU Head Coach Rusty Stroupe


Coach Stroupe has announced the dates for the upcoming holiday camps at Gardner-Webb University. Camp will be held at Moss Stadium/Masters Field on campus.


Diamond Dog Hitting Camp
Saturday, January 19
9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for grades 1-8 (Cost $30)
1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for grades 9 and up (Cost $40)
Camp staff to be determined but will include
GWU head coach Rusty Stroupe
Major leaguer Blake Lalli
GWU assistant coach Kyle Sprague
Limestone College assistant coach Daniel Merck 
GWU players
Other college coaches


There is no pre-registration form to fill out for the Hitting Camp.
However, if you are interested in the Hitting Camp, for staffing purposes, it is VERY important that you send an email to Coach Stroupe at rstroupe@gardner-webb.edu to confirm that you will be attending. Please include your name and grade in school. If you are bringing a team of players, please list the names of each of the players who will be attending.  Payment can be made on the day of camp. Checks can be made out to Diamond Dog Baseball.
Indoor facilities will be available for hitting camp in case of inclement weather.

So my son has been interested in finding some good baseball camps in San Jose. Maybe you can help, do you guys do anything like that? I'd love to hear more if you have any suggestions, thanks.

Sounds like a wonderful camp! I have found some great ones at baseball camps in san jose. Awesome program!
